Toby Hosts. Alan Repeats. Employing lessons learned from Daniel Negreanu Alejandro 'mixes it up' and busts out first. Alan takes it down. Justin earns second. Kudo's to Dave for an unprecedented 4 buy-ins. A good time was had by all.

Showdown at City Gate

New Venue. New Players. New Champ. Alejandro hosts and Alan goes from zero to hero to take it down. Jamie earns second and Dave limps into 3rd place. Kudo's to Toby for playing injured. A good time was had by all.

"It feels good to get the win, got my breaks when I needed them....The cards were on my side tonight!" - Alan.
Turning Point and Showdown of the Night...Alan's late Flush delivers a mortal wound to Justin's 10's and a crippling blow to Dave's King's and Eight's...ouch!

Return To The Library

A New Challenge... blinds double every 30 minutes. Justin and Drew take first and second place respectively. Lots of Big Hands all night. A good time was had by all.
"It started off shakey for me tonight but I felt good going into the end game after the buy-in deadline. The right cards at the right time. I think that made the difference for me." - Justin.
It was a real mixed bag tonight. We had Trip Queens, 10's, 7's, 5's, and even Trip 6's. 8's were crazy all evening. Hand of the night: Flush beats a Straight... A classic showdown.

Dave Hosts

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Dave and Alan, last tournaments champions, were both out first this time. After a long battle between the remaining players Toby and Justin decide to split the pot.
Dave (pocket Jacks) and Justin (Ace King suited) go head to head before the flop.

Sunday Night at Toby's

Another great night of Poker in the Library. Dave was bigstack all night with a consistent and disciplined game plan. Dave ultimately knocking a resilient Alan's cowboys out with trip 3's. Hand of the night was awarded to Alan for his crazy four 8's midway through the game.
